My point was to tell that I was about uploading a new version of mutter and
that maybe it was fixed upstream or that the patch should be based on that
code. This was only to avoid worthless work. I never replied that the ftbfs
was fixed in that upload, hence I didn't linked to that bug report.
That's explain why I didn't mentioned "-0ubuntu1" as I was talking about
upstream code.
The patch you pointed before was already in the package and that's why I didn't
thought it would have been related to your issue. For your information, the
patch is from debian and there from a long time:
metacity (1:2.26.0-2) unstable; urgency=low
* Use patchsys-quilt; build-depend on quilt.
* 01_Wcast-align.patch: don’t use -Wcast-align, it gives incorrect
warnings (errors thanks to -Werror) when some pointers are converted
back and forth to XPointers. Closes: #532655.
I just adapted it to the new configure.in file.
