Problems to know when to stop the service are:

* Since there is a GUI that interacts with the user, we can't measure idle time.
* We can't shut down after sending a signal, since we may have another request 
on-going.

Maybe a ref counting is the only option, but Chipaca says "ref counting
is hard".
