Thanks Sebastien, but I don't particularly want to use Gnome 2.32. I
would simply like a version of empathy without the huge privacy/security
hole in it. Auto-logging every chat, combined with the fact that the
logs are in a hidden folder, seems like a bug to me. It probably seemed
like a bug to the empathy folks, too, since they fixed it.
I don't wish to argue, but not fixing a serious privacy/security hole in
an LTS version, when a fix is released and available, doesn't seem in
the spirit of LTS releases.
