I think this would still fit also in the papercuts definition - assuming
that on the first day the new Ubuntu user would browse his existing
photo collection (for example dual-boot case or external hard drive with
photos).

This is one of the comparatively rare bugs that I've seen multiple times
when visiting other Ubuntu users, which makes me believe this is
actually one of the top annoyances for people, albeit limited to that
subset of people that have hundreds of photos in one folder and that use
file manager to browse through the folders.
