Why not provide ubuntu users with corresponding option in default .vimrc? Each time i install ubuntu I have to search google to find this patch for vim conf file. And I'm not the only one - look at google results and you'll find many others need this addon. Moreover, as the former gentoo user where this addition included in the default config I can say that this is very helpful when you doing some experiments with the system and need to reboot often. What would you suggest if you cannot (or just forgot) save the session?
Definitely voting for the option in the vimrc that help me to save my time and nerves. -- vim should open files at the previous cursor position https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/58004 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
