Copying a single file is no comparison to a similarly sized directory
containing thousands of files, so that comparison is bogus.
Please show times using another kernel (dapper 2.6.15 for example).
Also, are you running a stock edgy kernel, or your compiled kernel? If
your own kernel, then this bug is reject. I can only provide bug support
for our stock kernels.
