not sure if it was a duplicate, but this was fixed by using all
lowercase and no spaces in username, password and computer name. the
"forward" button in installation worked (as did the rest of setup).

ubiquity crashed with AttributeError in reset_locale() I tried
install from ISO, got to screen that asks for name, name of computer,
password...a box appeared on download screen saying "ready when you are..."
