well I have installed gstreamer0.10-plugins* and still no change. I am running ubuntu maverick, it worked fine in 10.04 after installed codec's. however, in 1.10 the music on the ipod is not listed in rythembox (shuffle) and I am stuck doingthings in a vm of 10.04. i KNOW the music is on the ipod, because it WORKS in 10.10.
