I have not had the opportunity to test multiple guests on the Maverick host since I've had quite a few problems with it.
Right now it seems like the problem I'm seeing is related to a vlan bug very similar to the one reported in bug #658460. The outages appear random but it looks like it occurs when there haven't been any traffic for a while and the guests mac is cleared from arp tables in the network.
