Based on your log, you have a broken file /etc/grub.d/10_linux.save
lying around. Either move that file out of grub.d so that it isn't
picked up by grub-mkconfig, or else run 'sudo chmod -x
/etc/grub.d/10_linux.save' (non-executable files won't be used).
