Binary package hint: xorg

I have a dual monitor system (NVIDIA FX1100), running Kubuntu 10.10 with
the nouveau driver. I have an x-window on each monitor. The "primary"
monitor is the left one. After log-in, the first application started
always appears on the right monitor. I can defeat this by scrolling
between desktops 1 and 2 before the first application launches, then it
goes to the left one. After launching the first application, all other
launches go to the screen I would expect them to.

I had this problem on kubuntu 10.04 with FX1100 with nvidia-glx-173
drivers and on 9.10 and 9.04 with dual NVIDIA FX5200s with nvidia-
glx-173 drivers.

I am not using compiz or special screen effects. I have tried turning on
and off the "restore session at log-in" - no change.

I don't think this is a nouveau issue as I also had the problem with
various nvidia drivers. I think the xorg version is 1.7.5.

This is only a very minor problem but as I usually start my system with
the right monitor off, it is very annoying.
