hi fabio, yes, i only downloaded the one copy. I first installed on the dell and all went through without a problem (twice actually, i missed something the first time around and wanted to test on this machine before installing on my wife computer.
the install on my wifes pc goes perfect up to the last part of the process. the only thing left for it to do is install the selected packages, i would answer then a couple of questions, confirm the placement of the grub loader (dual boot) and allow it to finish, eject and reboot... problem is just as it starts to install the packages, it seems to simply go to sleep, with no way of being able to wake it up! if i can view the screen, i can't finish the set up. i note there seems to be a few issues with nvidia cards. this being a pci-e wouldn't have any bearing on the matter would it??? the graphics on the dell were intergrated. thanks -- No Video Signal while installing Ubuntu Studio 10.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/681694 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
