During the installation of Ubuntu 10.10, your computer may not be
connected to the Internet. However, you need to connect your computer to
the internet to install a firewall. Then you need to download the
package with the firewall. Then you need to install and to configure a
firewall. In my opinion, the firewall should be installed before
connecting to the internet.
