The impact of upgrading python-numpy on reverse-dependencies, as
determined from the analysis referred to in comment #2 is listed below:
Reverse-build-depends:
Upgrade causes a FTBFS error:
necpp - Resolution: investigate error and patch source.
The following packages have FTBFS errors because they depend on python-numpy (<
1:1.5):
nibabel - Resolution: update build-depends and test with python-numpy 1.5.1
nipy - Resolution: update build-depends and test with python-numpy 1.5.1
scikit-learn - Resolution: merge 0.5 from debian experimental
Reverse-depends:
The following packages depend on python-numpy (< 1:1.5):
mayavi2 - Resolution: merge 3.4 from debian experimental
python-h5py - Resolution: update depends and test with python-numpy 1.5
python-nipy - Resolution: update depends and test with python-numpy 1.5
python-scikit-learn - Resolution: merge 0.5 from debian experimental

issue

If the upload for this bug is approved, I will file bugs for the above-
mentioned issues, and begin working on resolving them.
In addition, my analysis referred to in comment #2 has shown up some
other FTBFS bugs, which will be looked into separately.
