I can confirm this bug, same symptom as in the screenshots above.
As an additional information, it regularily happens when editing a 8MP
photo at 100%, and then clicking "Zoom AutoFit". Zooming out manually to
see the whole image (Zoom Out to 43.75% for me) works fine, but is
tedious.
