@Martin, looking at your syslog, it seems like pulseaudio was indeed running...? Can you confirm that the problem you're having is due to pulseaudio not running? Basically what I need is that if pulseaudio crashes or refuses to start, I need that happening with the "set-log-level 4", to get a debug log from when it crashes or refuses to start.
