<http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1150077>By the way, it IS NOT a fix to the bug in question, since the device is recognized as a simple PS mouse, many of its features are not exploited and, most importantly, the device starts behaving very annoyingly very often. The crazy behavior of the touchpad is so upsetting that I ended up plugging in an external USB mouse and blacklisting the psmouse module.
