@Tao Indeed, I did not check Solution 2 for a long period, as I unplug mostly to change location and replug their again. I'm on another laptop atm. I will post back as soon as I can. Meanwhile, how come this bug hasn't got any attention yet? It makes using Ubuntu virtually impossible without a fix
