Hello, I will just add a few comment, since I think I encounter that kind of bug on my side.
As the matter of fact, it seems that the bug occurs when you browse folders in graphic mode using nautilus, and you decide to change the application you will use to open that folder (totem in that particular case). I could realize that this manipulation modifies one setting in gnome setting user, which invokes totem application each time you want to open a folder with nautilus, using the gnome graphical menu. I could modify proper setting in my /home/user/.gome2 directory the first time that bug occured on my laptop, but don't remember in wich file I could fix that bug. And that bug occured when I was trying to read a music folder directly from nautilus. In my opinion, that only manipulation modifies gnome user's settings, and explains that bug. I will keep on checking how I could fix that bug, and will post again if I can find the reason. Hope that could help.
