install seems to work, ifeffit can be started, however running athena/artemis/hephaestus from the "science"-menu results in start-up and termination without further messages. running these programs on the comand line results in:
$ athena /usr/bin/perl: symbol lookup error: /usr/local/lib/perl/5.10.1/auto/Ifeffit/Ifeffit.so: undefined symbol: pgqndt_ following the suggestions on http://cars9.uchicago.edu/pipermail/ifeffit/2003-March/004789.html does not help. We urgently need this program for our research. The Windows version this package on "wine" works well for Athena, however Artemis fails by calling Ifeffit. Could anyone look at the installation, please?
