Just did a step-by-step debugging by backing up and restoring my
evolution settings and database and resetting the GConf evolution
parameter to default value.
Found out that it's a problem with the following GConf entry
/apps/evolution/shell/network_config/ignore_hosts="127.0.0.1, localhost"
It was set like that in previous versions in the evolution settings dialog. New
format is a list:
/apps/evolution/shell/network_config/ignore_hosts=[127.0.0.1, localhost]
If you set the global Ubuntu proxy settings, it won't be needed.
Hope, this will help everybody having the same bug.
