Hi EHTACL! Please try the following:
Open a terminal and enter the following command:
alsamixer
Then go to the "Input Source" and make sure it's set to "Internal Mic"
Then go to "Internal Mic Boost" and make sure the volume is all the way up.
Then try again and report back whether it works or not. Thanks!
