Re-hello, I used the text-based alternate CD in all cases when the installation stopps at 73%. Can I switch to a terminal window/console when installing from an alternate CD/DVD? I used these images http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily/current/
Installation from Ubuntu 11.04 Alpha2 (Live CD) works just fine. And I managed to do some good tests. I used natty-desktop-amd64.iso image from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/natty/alpha-2/ Unfortunately, I upgraded the system to latest packages and now it drops to a shell-prompt after reboot. I also let it install the restricted (NVidia) driver, this may be the reason. Nevermind, a quick re- installation will fix this. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/718888 Title: Installation of Ubuntu 11.04 stops at 73%. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
