I have the same issue, but I created the usb stick on one desktop with Ubuntu 10.10, and I cannot boot it on my other desktop. Stick boots fine on the originating pc. When booting on the victim pc, I get the message "Boot error". No prompt.
Originating PC is an old P4.... Victim is Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H MB, 4GB ram, 1Tb scsi drive... I have removed the ui from syslinux.cfg, no luck. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/669778 Title: 10.10 Boot error when booting from live usb -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
