I somehow fail to see how this might be caused by CUPS-PDF. The original
bug report said nothing about printing via the PDF back-end. Plus, using
the non-free Acrobat Reader apparently fixes the issue. If in doubt and
the printing was indeed attempted using the PDF back-end, could you
please this using the CUPS-PDF packages from my PPA and confirm whether
the issue still applies?
