I don't think this is a duplicate bug, in #348440 system switches to a
text console and then back to usplash.
The problem here is that we have a message "usplash killed" on the
console and so usplash never appears. I have several Karmic systems and
all of them show this behaviour, but I guess it won't be fixed and so it
should be stated.
