** Description changed:
- Binary package hint: unity
+ When a user first enters a Dash lens (before they perform a search)
+ several Dash category headers are missing.
- Unity 3.6.0-0ubuntu2, Ubuntu Natty alpha 3
+ Desires resolution:
- 1. After logging in to Ubuntu for the first time, click the Ubuntu button.
- 2. Click "Find More Apps".
+ When a user goes to a Dash lens the following category headers should
+ always be displayed (this includes displaying all the headers before the
+ user has performed a search)
- What happens:
- * An "Installed" heading appears, displaying only six applications: About Me,
Additional Drivers, AisleRiot Solitaire, Appearance, Assistive Technologies,
and Banshee Media Player. (Only two of these are actually useful applications.)
- * Next to "Installed" is small grey text, "See 66 more results".
- * The rest of the screen is completely empty.
+ App Lens:
+ - Most Frequently Used (collapsed by default)
+ - Installed (collapsed by default)
+ - Apps Available for Download (expanded by default - only visible if a
internet connection is available)
- What should happen: If I've already taken two clicks to get here, don't
- make me click yet again, just show me every application on the machine.
+
+ File Lens:
+ - Recent (collapsed by default)
+ - Downloads (collapsed by default)
+ - Folders (collapsed by default)
