Wow, that's very strange Timo, have tested it on 2 separate installs in my eeepc 901, and neither is an issue. Which bios version are you running, and is it (originally) the Linux or Windoze version of the eeepc 901? I recall there was some very weird behaviour with some of the bios versions...
Re wireless, this has been increasingly hard to troubleshoot. Seems to work for awhile, then slows to a crawl. The way to 'fix' it seems to be turning the wireless off via the keyboard shortcut Timo used, Fn+F2, then back on again the same way. Seems to be working... then sometimes it's not. Any advice on what to troubleshoot, and when? Will try these commands next time I notice difficulties: iwconfig wlan0 nm-tool Also, what's the wpasupplicant, and how do I use it? Cheer.
