I don't think I'm going to get this in for Natty. I won't release it today
anyhow. If Seb agrees I can distro patch next week. But there is a little bit
more involved to get this working through the source-ouput callback and as a
result I would be reluctant to rush this out today without properly testing it.
Will keep this on my radar though and make sure we accommodate this next cycle
. The first place to start is to ensure the spec on the wiki properly describes
what it would like from the feature. When I was developing this the spec was
clearly only concerned with VOIP calls hence why I used the sink input
callback. I will talk to MPT to make sure the spec covers all desired angles.
