There was a bug allowing eeepc-wmi to load with acpi_osi="Linux". It's fixed in recent kernels. BTW, acpi_osi="Linux" should not be used anymore.
Luca, First, without acpi_osi=Linux, eeepc-wmi is loaded, and files are now in /sys/devices/platform/eeepc-wmi/. Could you try this dkms package: http://git.iksaif.net/?p=acpi4asus- dkms.git;a=summary ? To build it you can either build the debian package and install it (use dpkg-buildpackage), or read http://dev.iksaif.net/projects/acpi4asus/wiki/Backport_module . -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/740636 Title: Asus 1201nl - hotkeys not working -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
