I'm having a similar problem under Ubuntu 10.10 32-bit. Sometimes (but not always), scrolling in Chrome/Gedit/almost anything while playing sound on Rhythmbox/Spotify under Wine/ Flash videos/whatever, results in considerable sound stutter.
On a related note, sometime videos playing on Totem have slight stutter if resized past certain size (e.g. when played fullscreen). I haven't been able to track the cause of this problem. Problems with Totem sometimes go away after closing almost all background applications (note, however, that there's plenty RAM free and that no other process is consuming much CPU). Sometimes the problem just goes away without doing nothing. For instance, I was experiencing whis bug when I started writting this, but it has dissapeared since. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/573236 Title: sound distortion while scrolling -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
