I'd recommend the following:
1) Make sure nothing got installed from your attempt to install these drivers,
"modinfo snd-hda-codec" should *NOT* return any filename with "/updates/" in it
2) https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/InstallingLinuxAlsaDriverModules
3) If this does not work, try again with model=auto
4) If this does not work either, try hda_analyzer, go to node 0x0f and try to
raise the "amp-out" values.
