No, I can't switch to a terminal and the NumLock and CapsLocks don't light
up; Ctl-Alt-Del doesn't work nor does soft power off. But now I'm not sure
if it is a bug in the new kernels now that running -28 locked up after about
24 hrs. I had installed the new Sun Java to run minecraft, which was
working. I uninstalled this version and re-installed the package in the
Ubuntu repository and completely removed minecraft but I still have the
problem. I recall that there was a problem at some point with openGL
screensavers, so I switched to a blank screen and I'm going to test that
later. I have been running in Win7 for about 16hrs. now and everything
*seems* fine so I'm guessing there's not a hardware problem.
