@David of course there there are many priority bugs to work on. I do take your point on this. The problem is the that I (and I guess others that are vocal on this thread) are looking beyond the narrow limitations of "the number of effected users" to drive the decision on what gets worked on and in our minds (at least in mine) this is a common-sense issue. To me it is absolutely clear that this is a MAJOR problem. I think that's the main reason for the passion with which this issue is being discussed. The way I see it, discussion around "whether this bug should be fixed" are crazy. How on earth can anyone not realise that this bug completely undermines the whole raison d'etre for Ubuntu One?
That's basically the thought process going on in my mind. Obviously the point of view that you and some of the other guys are expressing comes from the other end of the spectrum. The disjoin between the two points of view is extreme. On this particular issue I don't see any middle ground - from my perspective this either gets fixed - soon - or Ubuntu One fails. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/387308 Title: HTTPS Proxy Support for file sync -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
