Thanks for your bug report and sorry for the inconvenience. The version
of Unity that you are using in Ubuntu-10.10 is not being worked on at
the moment and in Ubuntu-11.04 we have moved to a totally different
version of Unity. You are welcome to try and provide feedback for the
beta-2 of Ubuntu Natty Narwal from here
