Workaround: 1) Create a file called "unload_modules"
$ sudo gedit /etc/pm/config.d/unload_modules 2) Put the following in the file (see attached): # Workaround for SUSPEND and RESUME in Maverick SUSPEND_MODULES="tpm_tis" 3) Save it and make it executable.
