** Description changed: When doing cert testing on the E4310, when I did the wireless-key test, the system locked up. This system does not have a wireless hot-key, but it does have a wireless on/off slider switch on the side of the case. Turning wi-fi off via this switch causes the machine to lock up hard, requiring a power-cycle to get it back up and running. I repeated this 3 times in a row. This system is also listed as "Enabled" for 10.10 and in that test submission, the wireless-key test is marked as pass. So I'm failing the machine for natty and tagging this as a regression. Previous successful test according to the "Enabled" submission. *note that while that submission is on different physical hardware, they are both E4310s https://certification.canonical.com/hardware/201010-6654/submission/22f2Mg8PGpQS2rB/result/test:wireless-key:compatibility + --- + AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.23. + Architecture: i386 + ArecordDevices: + **** List of CAPTURE Hardware Devices **** + card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: STAC92xx Analog [STAC92xx Analog] + Subdevices: 1/1 + Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 + AudioDevicesInUse: + USER PID ACCESS COMMAND + /dev/snd/controlC0: ubuntu 1322 F.... pulseaudio + CRDA: Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory + Card0.Amixer.info: + Card hw:0 'Intel'/'HDA Intel at 0x55460000 irq 43' + Mixer name : 'Intel IbexPeak HDMI' + Components : 'HDA:111d7605,10280410,00100104 HDA:80862804,80860101,00100000' + Controls : 19 + Simple ctrls : 11 + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 + HibernationDevice: RESUME=UUID=2055bf68-8235-4890-84f1-2afe10a5614d + InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Release i386 (20110427.1) + Lsusb: + Bus 002 Device 003: ID 0a5c:5800 Broadcom Corp.
