Ok, good. Well it seems that some of the packages you installed with
the custom PPA's are still on the system and blocking the upgrade.
(Unfortunately, its tough to figure out exactly which ones.)
(Hence this error: 2011-04-29 06:37:28,267 DEBUG Can't mark 'ubuntu-
desktop' for upgrade E:Unable to correct problems, you have held broken
packages.)
It is not a bug with the system, therefore I am going to move this to
the 'questions' area. You may also consider a tool called 'ppa-purge'
to fully remove all custom PPA's.
