This photo is of one of the two screens attached to the ATI Radeon 5870 under Natty.
All latest updates have been installed. The system is still responsive as I can Ctrl-Alt-F1 and see a change in the screen and then ctrl-Alt-F7 reverts to the image here. However, on some reboots the system hangs. Caps-lock LED on keyboard does not toggle indicating a complete hardware lockup. ** Attachment added: "Login screen garbled under Natty with ATI Radeon 5870 and radeon driver" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/756540/+attachment/2117615/+files/2011-05-07%2013.08.58.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/756540 Title: ATI graphics card fails when RAM increased to 4Gb on Natty Beta -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
