Similar problem here with the "radeon" and/or "ati" free drivers. I see
drawing corruption when using blender on my ThinkPad R51 with an ATI
Mobility Radeon 7500 after upgrading from 6.10 to 7.04. Other OpenGL
programs of mine show strange behavior when clearing buffers, so I
think the bug is down to the graphic driver. Another screenshot posted
