Arv Evans, thank you for reporting this bug and helping make Ubuntu
better. The phenomenon reported is not a bug as the shape get's flipped,
but the gradient does not because it is doing what it is designed to do,
perform a gradient top to bottom. If you want to flip the gradient
highlight the box -> Modify -> Convert -> To Bitmap notice that when one
tries to flip the box, both the shape and the gradient flip as expected.
