as for the other bug I told you: On laptop Dell N5010 the KDE freezes after going in sleep mode while a 3G modem is connected to computer
The version of kubuntu is 11.04 on 32 bit taken from official cd image on kubuntu webserver. The bug can be reproduced by following steps: 1. start the computer 2. wait the kubuntu to load 3. attach an 3g modem and configure it. If already done that just start the modem and connect to provider. 4. Use the connection for a while. 5. Let the computer go in sleep mode. 6. Bring back the computer to working state 7. Try to use the KDE. You shall notice that the buttons or icons are not responding. The configuration in which this bug occured is a laptop Dell N5010 stock version with Intel I3, video card Intel HD, 2 GB RAM. The bug has a frequence of 3 out of 3, meaning that, in my case, happens all the time. The only way I could bring my Kubuntu functionality back was to reboot. ________________________________ From: RedSingularity <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, May 26, 2011 7:25 AM Subject: [Bug 782338] Re: error update to ubuntu 10.10 So if I am getting this, you are having problems installing the Operating System all altogether?
