Thanks for all the work in analysing the valgrind logs and figuring out the issues.
I'm marking this Triaged, since it's pretty clear what needs to be done (thanks to all the bug reports), and High given the relatively high impact across at least the indicator apps. After going through the bugs filed; I think we're left to three that need to be Triaged and the patches written or reviewed: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/appmenu-gtk/+bug/787736 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libdbusmenu/+bug/784890 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libappindicator/+bug/784327 Aside from that, dbus-glib 0.94 may need to be investigated, or at least backporting the patches from the 0.94 branch onto 0.92 which we currently have in Oneiric. ** Changed in: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Triaged ** Changed in: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium => High -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/780602 Title: nm-applet leaks memory and stops functioning after a while -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
