The last version ("1:1.2.9-1ubuntu6.4") also affected us.
After upgrading today (2011-06-02), it overwrote "smtpd_recipient_restrictions"
and "smtpd_sender_restrictions".
The "check_policy_service", "check_recipient_access",
"reject_invalid_hostname" , "reject_non_fqdn_hostname" ,
"reject_non_fqdn_sender" and "reject_non_fqdn_recipient" settings were
removed, among others. :-(
