Hi! Christian, Since upgrading to 11.04 'Natty', I have experienced similar issues with chrony as well as a number of other issues, the worst being freeze-ups of the system.
As I am unable to get out of the system freezes, I cannot run any other programs, let alone a terminal. The only way of getting out of the freeze-ups is to press the reset button on my PC and re-booting, losing anything I was doing at the time of system freeze. I am very dissapointed about ubuntu going to Unity rather than Gnome 3, which is great on another PC with another Distro installed. I wish to remain with ubuntu, but unless unity is dropped, I will have no option other than move to another distro. UNITY SUCKS, so many freeze-ups, it's like running Windows again. Apart from Chrony in 10.4, no other issues found in other ubuntu's eg:. 10.10, which ran perfectly.
