Well, just tried to install Karmic on the same Vaio VGN-SR21M, and here are the results.
Wakeups in the range of 20 - 30, while I thought that the 120 - 150 range was the norm. It seems to me that the consumption level rised with Maverick, since I also tested a Lucid server that stays around 20 - 30 all the time. Results are for the Vaio laptop.
