Based on this information, I can only conclude that the bug is present
in FFmpeg/Libav 0.6, which is what maverick to natty ship. Lucid comes
with an even older version, 0.5.
In any case, we still need confirmation that his bug has been fixed in
0.7, which can be found in the PPA or in oneiric. I have therefore set
the status per release nomination accordingly to represent the situation
appropriately.
