THIS IS ABSOLUTELY CRAZY TO CLOSE THIS BUG OUT! IT STILL EXISTS WITHIN UBUNTU 11.04 (NATTY). WE HAVE BEEN WAITING MONTHS MONTHS MONTHS FOR ANYONE TO COMMENT ON THIS, RESPOND TO US, OR FIX IT. EVERYTHING WORKED GREAT INITIALLY IN 10.04 UNTIL THE 10.10 UPGRADE. WE'RE NOT ASKING FOR NEW DEVELOPMENT, JUST FIND THE CODE WHICH DID WORK AND RESTORE THOSE SETTINGS TO 10.10, 11.04, ETC GOING FORWARD. I CANNOT UPGRADE WITHOUT THIS FIX.

The only way I am able to fix this is issue is by doing a system test. But as soon as my laptop goes to sleep it goes back to the black screen. I could not find another fix because once I did the system testing for 10.10 it would not allow me to do the testing again to fix it.
