Sorry, bug surfaced upon checking/backing up/upgrading PC which I seldom use. Never saw it again on that or on laptops I use. Note, I still prefer EOG whether using Ubuntu-G, -X, or -L (all latest, beta, or alpha versions).
If nobody else observed same problem then this should be closed.
