The wishlist status is just plain wrong. I mean it's packaged by default but does not behave like other programs using global proxy settings. It's either a bug or defective by design. But then there shouldn't be that big fuzz about U1 while pretending proxy support is a "nice to have" feature...
I really like Ubuntu and the way it is developing... but this is one of the biggest disappointments so far... because it could be SO EXTREMELY USEFUL!!!
